Employment History:

Historic Royal Palaces, based at Hampton Court Palace - Conservator
During the three years I worked there as part of a small team, I experienced a wide variety of objects, materials and specialist tasks associated with a historic environment. Working for Historic Royal Palaces also gave me the opportunity to work at Kensington Palace and the Tower of London.

English Heritage - Regional Conservator for the South East
Advising, conserving and preserving the collections in English Heritages care throughout the stores and sites within the south east region.

Surrey Museums - Conservation Advisor
Supporting and advising all the museums in Surrey on the care and preservation of their collections.

 

I have also been fortunate enough to be awarded the City and Guilds Medal for Excellence for Creative Studies in Painting and Frame Restoration.
As a result of this award I was then awarded the City and Guilds Lion Award for the Creative Craftsperson of the Year 2006.
